More than one Invisibility cloak......?
According to the legend or rather the true events based on the invention of three most powerful magical objects by Peverrel brothers namely, Elrond wand or wand of destiny or deathstick, ressurection stone & the invisibility cloak must exist in singular number each. Well, that is more likely, because It didn't sound from the stories in the "The tales of Beedle the bard" that those brothers made those objects more than one each & in later generation of witches & wizards only Dumbledore & Grindelwald actually understood the meaning behind the fairy tales & tried to unite the three HALLOWS. But in "Harry Potter & the Goblet of fire" we have found that Barty Crouch had an invisibility cloak. How's it possible? was that a true invisibility cloak or just an ordinary ones? It also isn't likely that Barty crouch just took chance with an ordinary cloak, enwrapped with some temporary vanishing or invisible enchanment. Because except the true one like Potter's the charm is bound to be faded off after certain period of time. This is so unlike of Barty Crouch that he depended just on a single temporary & a bit frail thing with his most important things i.e. pride, prejudice & his position in the ministry. Also in first book i.e. "Harry Potter & the philosopher's stone" Ron mentioned then as rare not as the single most thing existing in the world. That indicates there are more than one, but I guess he reffred to the ordinary ones. So if Barty's cloack is a true invisibility cloak, he too bound to be the descendant of Ignotous Peverrel & related to Potters. But more than 1 invisibility & Barty using an ordinary invisibility cloak, both seems improbable.

Er....confusions!!!
There are some confusions in my mind about some theories regarding the legendary Harry Potter series. I am going to quill down them point by point,
1. How the muggle parents of Hermione drop her to diagon Alley where they aren’t supposed to see it due to the muggle repelling charm on it?
3. Why all the teachers at Hogwarts are bachelors? (including Neville Longbottom)
4. We know in the 5th volume that James never got the prefect batch but in first volume Hagrid mentioned to Harry that both of Harry's parents were Head Boy & Head Girl at their time. So is that possible to get selected for Head Boy without being a prefect?
5. The sex of ARAGOG, the giant spider, came with HAGRID, from a distant land to Hogwarts. When it told Harry & Ron about its son & daughter, it is evident that it is a unisexual species because otherwise it couldn’t differentiate between its sons & daughter. My question is that if it is a unisexual species then how was it able to do reproduction without a female species of its kind? It is quite clear that it was the only one of its kind in the forbidden forest & when it came there, it was only a baby, so it is out of question for it to be pregnant then.6. Is Hogwarts older than BEAUXBATON or DRUMSTRANG? & who are the founders of them?8. Isn't it a bit fishy that Prof. Dumbledore didn't know about the room of requirement while prof. Trelawney did, as we came to know from the book of "Harry Potter and the half blood prince", when she went to that room in intension to hide the sherry bottles of her & almost got face to face with Draco Malfoy, repairing the vanishing cabinet there.

7.According to the sixth volume, prefects have not the power to dock points (as we are seeing when Malfoy is going to dock points Ron reminded him so). But in the second volume when Percy saw Ron & Harry, came out from a girl’s bathroom (the moaning myrtle’s place) he docked 5 points from Gryffindor as a prefect. How is that possible?

My 8th Letter to J.K.Rowling !!!

Dear J.K.Rowling,
Remember me? I am Suchismita, 24 years old, from INDIA. I am a huge fan of your magical creation the legend “Harry Potter”.
At last, we’ve faced the absolute end of the legendary creation “Harry Potter” series. As I wrote before, I was dreading this very moment. I was tremendously scared & at the same time exceedingly excited about what the last book of the series was going to reveal. There were so many puzzles to solve, so many questions to answer, so many darkness to be enlighten. Sometimes, it seemed impossible to me that how all these unknown are going to be explored in a single book. But it has been explored, at last, in a single book & in a very nice & satisfactory manner. Although, my university exam was on during the time of its release, I bought the book the very first day & finished it hungrily within 24 hours. Interestingly, the preparation of my exam wasn’t got hampered by this act of mine, instead, the book worked as a positive catalyst & keyed up my entire preparation.
Honestly, I just don’t know from where to begin with. I have just so many things to tell you, so many things to share with you that I really doubt that whether I’ll be able to do that in proper way or I’ll be ending up in a total mess. But whatever it is, I just have to do it.
The darkest time ever, time for the absolute evil to strike with its full potential, time to save the good & innocents or die ----- this is the very situation which is reflected through the “Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows”. The last book of the series is undoubtedly shocking. I was expecting Harry to die, although I never ever wanted that, but the way the prediction of Harry’s death took place in every newspaper & every television channel, I thought that it might have taken place in reality. I was extremely relieved & happy to find three of them coming out alive & as winners. There are a number of deaths in this volume… Hedwig, Alastor Moody, Ted Tonks, Dobby, Fred Weasley, Remus lupin & last but not the least the lively Nymphadora Lupin (Tonks). But very truly speaking, these deaths did make me upset but didn’t make me disappointed. These deaths didn’t make me weep or cry a lot like that in case of Sirius or Dumbledore’s death. I was surprised to find myself in that way. I didn’t understand it at all. I asked myself, am I too used to the death of the characters in Harry Potter series. Or, am I too strong & well prepared myself to accept any kind of mishaps or more precisely death, in this series? I asked these questions to myself several times, but without any satisfactory answer. Then, one day, it clicked. It clicked just like that, when I was thinking about my grandpa, whom I’ve lost at 11th February 2007. He was very dear to me & loved me a lot. Losing him was really, really painful & that was my very first experience of losing someone so near & dear. Before 11th February, I was unknown to death in the real life. Well, unknown to experience it so closely. I didn’t know how it feels to lose a person, a beloved person, permanently. So, I was sort of scared to it too & imagined an aggressive, erotic, demon like, absolute poisonous evil, as the face of the death. But after the very day of my Grandpa’s departure, I’ve seen the actual, the real face of death & I feel that it is not the death I fear, it is not at all the death we fear, we fear the departure, the permanent departure of our beloved one. But the beloved ones don’t really leave us permanently but stays on in the heart of us. I just only can’t see him but can feel him very well, in my thoughts, in my dreams he is very much alive. So I believe that my grandpa is very much alive in me, in my heart & will leave this world only when I’ll leave this world. The death is unavoidable, the most natural & obvious thing that knocks everybody’s door one time for sure. That time may be now or may be then, but if not now then must be then & I am getting the support of this truth at each death in the Harry Potter volume. So, it didn’t make me cry so hard. Actually, according to me this book alone takes the entire series of Harry Potter to another level, the level of spirituality. Specially, the theory of the three DEATHLY HALLOWS is so far reaching. Nothing is more perfect to deliver the message “The only way to master a thing is to experience it & master the fear for it”. Seriously, without experiencing it, how can anyone be the master of it? None, absolutely none can be the master of unknown. So, if you want to be the master of death, you must experience it once or more plainly, you have to die, you have to accept death without fear. This is the irony of it. What a deep & difficult philosophy & what an extra-ordinary way to say it so simply. With a few delicate strokes of your fascinating story-telling style, you’ve introduced the world’s most deep & solemn knowledge to the mind of every youngster as well as to adult society too. Now there are few things in this book that troubled me a bit. First of all, I want to talk about the theory or more accurately the history of Elder’s wand. It was described as an unbeatable wand. Well, in that case it must make the owner unbeatable while he or she is using the wand. But most interestingly, a person becomes the new owner of the Elder’s wand when & only when he or she defeats the previous owner of the wand in a duel & sort of win the wand just like Dumbledore win it from Grindelwald. But if the unbeatable theory is true then how was it possible for Dumbledore to defeat the undefeatable owner of the Elder’s wand? To me, it seems that Elder’s wand is indeed a trap. A trap which is made of nothing but greed. Human’s greed is indeed exploited by this one single wooden wand. May be the wand acts according to its own accord, to its own will & according to me this wand is the most defeatable wand in the entire magic world. It indeed, makes sure the defeat of a person when the wand itself wants to change its owner. So, as soon as you get the hold of it, the defeat of yours becomes absolute. I think this is a special kind of wand, which can sense the greed of human & able to exploit it, almost like the Horcrux, the cursed Slytherin’s locket which penetrates through person’s mind & senses his or her weakness & exploit it. It does sound a bit like the ring of the novel Lord Of The Rings, by J.R.R.Tolkein. T he only way to break the trap is to destroy it, which Harry did but unfortunately Dumbledore didn’t & this makes Harry wiser & better than Dumbledore. Talking of Dumbledore, brings us to the point of discovering the real Dumbledore. In the entire series, we find Dumbledore, sometimes as a good father like figure to Harry, sometimes as a really brilliant man having a perfect solution to every problem, sometimes as a great or more correctly the best headmaster, that Hogwarts can ever witnessed & all the time as the world’s greatest , best & the most talented wizard. But this last book of the series describes Dumbledore as a man with flesh & blood, a very down to earth man who can make mistakes like everybody else, can be wrong sometimes, can be a bit selfish sometimes too & who can be guilty of some of his acts & who can weep. He is no more some sort of wonder or superman, who exists only in stories, but a normal, mortal man with all the finer human sentiments & does exist in the real world. Now, I want to say something about Severus Snape. Before the release of the last volume, I simply hated Snape. But now, I have no hesitation, whatsoever, in confessing that I admire the character to some extent & side by side a little less appreciate the character of Harry’s father James & Sirius. Well, after all it is love that makes Snape to turn his head towards the decency & becomes the most important & absolute loyal member to the Order Of Phoenix. It is the love for lily that makes him to turn his back to the evil world & it is the enormous hatred for James that prevents him from showing his niceness & revealing the goodness of his own heart to everybody in the decent side, except Dumbledore, which, by the way worked really well, for the Order & Harry. But all the time, Snape was actually going through an enormous guilt of being the responsible of the death of his beloved one without showing his real mental state, his agony & allowing people to misunderstand him. He was confused himself, about his feelings towards Harry, the son of his beloved one & his biggest enemy. I think may be sometimes he found his lost love Lily in Harry’s large green eyes (which are the only bit of appearance Harry inherited from his mother) but most of the time he found James in his face. So, eyes or face, everytime he sort of dueled between the two secretly. So one thing I must say here that, the true nature of the most complicated character has been revealed in such a way that it turns the wizarding world as well as the reader’s world upside down. Whatever is seen, is not offering the entire truth always, sometimes it even contradicts the truth by concealing it tightly within a box of illusion, a box of false image. As, we are moving forward through the book, the darkness increases steadily, we can feel the suspense, the breath taking suspense is increasing. We are reading it, don’t because we have to, but because we can’t leave it. The enormous electrifying thrill of it, glues us to the book & makes it impossible to leave it until & unless we know the ultimate of it. So when it seems impossible that the world can ever get rid of the engulfing, absolute black, just then, penetrating the whole dark mist, in come a thin ray of light just like an arrow & reaches the earth & we witness the destruction of Voldemort in the hand of Harry, the downfall of hatred & power in the hand of love, the defeat of bad over good. The black cloud, starts to fade…..becomes grey…..almost white……..a clear sky appears at last. A sensation of relief & a happy tiredness fills up the mind of every reader. Then with a finger snap, we traveled a nineteen long years really fast & standing at the very beginning of the journey to Hogwarts. We are at King’s Cross again, crossing the barrier between the platform nine & three quarter & seeing the good old scarlet engine of Hogwarts express. The same familiar feeling of nervousness, same excitement but the only difference is that, this time it is not the feelings of Harry & his friends but their sons & daughters. A beginning indeed, announcing the very end. A generation starts with new enthusiasm, ending the previous one. But Hogwarts is still the same, welcoming the new young witches & wizards with the same friendly manner. “We do love you Hogwarts, good old Hogwarts. We trust you & so we are sending our children to you, under your love & care.”- these must be a few lines that thirty six years old Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione was thinking while biding goodbye to their children & waving to the Hogwarts express. The sun is so warm & shines so brightly that the whole world seems to be a real sunnier place after all.
So at last, I only want to say that, I am really thankful that you went through my letter without losing your patience & whatever I wrote, I don’t know how well or organized it is, because I didn’t try to give it an organized look at all, I just wrote whatever I feel, with pure honesty. Not a drop of artificiality or formality I introduced, but I just ripped my heart open & put it in front of you. I can’t deny that I am really longing to get a reply from you but very truly, that is not the cause of writing this letter. I wrote because I had to tell you, what I realize, had to tell you how your novel helped me through my life & finally to thank you for presenting such a wonder to the entire world. Waiting eagerly for your reply.

7th letter to J.K.Rowling !!!
Dear J.K.Rowling, 28-12-06
I am Suchismita (23 years old) from India & I am a crazy fan of your wonderful creation the legend Harry Potter. I didn’t get any response from you after I sent my last letter to you. Well, I perfectly know that it was a huge favour I asked you for; I mean I should have realized that even writing a few words to your fan would be a real trouble for you now. On one side you have to complete the next & probably the last volume of the magical series of HARRY POTTER, on the other side you have to give time to your family, to your friends & also to the entire media. The whole world is seeking your attention; you have to deal with probably millions of fan mails on the daily basis. But still you don’t complain, you treat all of them in a nice, warm & in such an organized manner. I guess that now you are facing trouble to sort out time even for yourself. In this respect, only five words are coming out of my mouth “Hat’s off to you ma’am”. You are not only a successful author, but a successful celebrity, a successful mother & a successful wife & last of all a successful woman. The proof of all of these is just in front of our eyes. The Harry Potter books & its enormous success throughout the globe is the sole reflector of your fantastic writing ability & the imaginative mind & the lovely, happy family of yours is the sole indicator of your successful motherhood & wifehood, because only a woman is able to bind her entire family under a roof with love, care & selflessness. But the bottom-line is that all these success is solely earned by you yourself, after a lot of agony, lot of tears & a lot of struggle. It’s your mental strength that gave you the power to enlighten your quality, your talent & spread it across the wide & vast world. So I can tell you that with being the crazy fan of your creation Harry Potter, I am your fan too. I respect you & admire you from the bottom of my heart.
Today I am not at all writing to you just because I didn’t get any reply of my letter from you, but I am writing to you because I just have to share my feelings, my thoughts about the novel Harry Potter with somebody special & who could possibly be the better person than the creator herself? It’s not about any confusion, neither any prediction. This is about my feelings, a very strange one in fact. Even I am unable to give this feeling a particular name. Perhaps it’s about the feeling of joy or sadness or of suspense or a mixture of all those things. I don’t know. Ultimately the end is approaching, the ultimate curtain is about to be lifted up to reveal all the answers, all the explanations to different mysteries of the magical world of Harry Potter. Once again, we will be able to explore the entire Hogwarts castle & ground with Harry & his companions. Once again we will be immersed in the magical world & will enjoy the electrifying thrill of it. So, naturally I should be excited for getting a chance like that again, after waiting two long years, which, by the way, seems like two millions years. I am excited, no doubt about it, but not that excited as I was, during the time of the release of all the previous volumes. Well, it’s because of the fact that the release bell is also indicating that the dead end has ultimately came. So my soul is sort of torn into two parts, between the happiness, joy, excitement for being with Harry once again & an absolute deep & silent grief to face the dead end of Harry Potter & his world. I have been waiting so long, I’ve wanted this last book to be released more than anything else, I was dying to know what will happen next, but when it comes in front of me at last, I, somehow, don’t want to face it. A little part of my soul still want to wait & still want to feel the thrill, the charm to the unknown which is coming & going to be revealed in front of it. In one word, it still want to be assured by the fact that there is more to come, more magic, more fun & more & more Harry & Hogwarts. It really feels good to wait for something good. I know that everything has a start & has an end too. If we welcome the sparkling start, we must accept the end gracefully. But still, it’s mortal human heart, which just doesn’t want to let go. I know that Harry & probably a couple of my beloved characters are going to die in this last volume, as you hinted strongly. Well these would be grievous no doubt, but I personally believe that a person is dead only when he or she is vanished from the heart of the living people, not just because they left this earth physically and I don’t believe that it is ever possible for Harry & his entire world to be abolished or to be forgotten from the heart of the people around the globe. It is next to impossible. For all these years, starting from the birth of Harry potter novel, Harry, Hermione, Ron, Hagrid, Neville, Ginny, Dumbledore, Sirius, Lupin even Draco, Snape, Voldemort , precisely all the characters of the wizarding world & the magic world itself, created a deep impact to every soul of the mankind. It touches the most sensitive, most secret & most precious part of human heart with such a delicacy that it makes Harry & his companions as the nearest & dearest ones to all. But, well, life is not the bed of roses all the times, thorns are scattered here & there to make you bleed. Dear & near ones not remain all the time with us. They have to leave us sometime & beneath this departure lay the absolute truth of the life that life never stops; it continues to flow on through its path in the very same manner, offering happiness, joy & smiles sometimes & grief, pain &tears, some other times. This small but absolute truth will be reflecting through the graceful end of this novel. According to me, this is the beauty of this novel, that it actually is introducing the children to the real world which is not at all “& they live happily ever after” kind of story. So, in this way the young generation around the globe is learning to accept any kind of mishaps bravely, if it ever comes to their lives. One thing I must mention here, that you explained the feeling of Harry about the recent loss of his beloved godfather Sirius Black in a manner, which is just so real & so accurate. I mean none; I repeat absolutely none can describe that particular mental state with that perfection. Well, unless, she or he has gone through the same situation. Yes, I feel that it is your own grief, your own personal mental state, during the time you lost your beloved, respected, caring mother, which is reflected through Harry’s grief & mental state about Sirius & during the time of the Dumbledore’s death too. This touched the deepest bit of my soul & made my eyes full with tears. I am sorry to remind you the painful incident, but I just had to, just couldn’t restrain myself from saying it to you. Well, ma’am you’d be glad to know that it is your novel, your creation that introduces me to the world of “love”. Yes, I am in love with one of the characters of your novel – Remus. J. Lupin. This is the first time ever that I feel in that way for any fictitious character, but it seems so real, he seems so real in fact. At first I wondered what had happened to me. Am I crazy or just queer? But slowly & steadily I understand that I am falling in love with the man with a great heart, shabby & patched robes but brilliant eyes & a sharp mind. I simply love him. So thanks a million for presenting me the greatest gift of all the time, “love”.
Well, I think that’s all I had to say to you or more precisely, that’s all that I have managed to say to you from probably infinite things which I want to say. I know, I shouldn’t ask for any reply, for your enormous hectic schedule, but still can’t prevent myself from begging at least for a few lines from you. I’ll be extremely happy & grateful if you do that. They have to leave us sometime & beneath this departure lay the absolute truth of the life that life never stops; it continues to flow on through its path in the very same manner, offering happiness, joy & smiles sometimes & grief, pain &tears, some other times. This small but absolute truth will be reflecting through the graceful end of this novel. According to me, this is the beauty of this novel, that it actually is introducing the children to the real world which is not at all “& they live happily ever after” kind of story. So, in this way the young generation around the globe is learning to accept any kind of mishaps bravely, if it ever comes to their lives. One thing I must mention here, that you explained the feeling of Harry about the recent loss of his beloved godfather Sirius Black in a manner, which is just so real & so accurate. I mean none; I repeat absolutely none can describe that particular mental state with that perfection. Well, unless, she or he has gone through the same situation. Yes, I feel that it is your own grief, your own personal mental state, during the time you lost your beloved, respected, caring mother, which is reflected through Harry’s grief & mental state about Sirius & during the time of the Dumbledore’s death too. This touched the deepest bit of my soul & made my eyes full with tears. I am sorry to remind you the painful incident, but I just had to, just couldn’t restrain myself from saying it to you. Well, ma’am you’d be glad to know that it is your novel, your creation that introduces me to the world of “love”. Yes, I am in love with one of the characters of your novel – Remus. J. Lupin. This is the first time ever that I feel in that way for any fictitious character, but it seems so real, he seems so real in fact. At first I wondered what had happened to me. Am I crazy or just queer? But slowly & steadily I understand that I am falling in love with the man with a great heart, shabby & patched robes but brilliant eyes & a sharp mind. I simply love him. So thanks a million for presenting me the greatest gift of all the time, “love”.

Remember me? I am Suchismita from INDIA.I am a huge fan of yours. Because I, personally think that with being the world’s best author you are totally a wonderful person. The attitude of yours towards your fans makes me feel like that way, about you. You are always so nice to them & never neglect them. It was always my dream, or rather beyond my wildest imagination to get a few lines from a great author of the HARRY POTTER. But you make it possible. I felt so warm, overwhelmed with joy & apparently lost of word after I got your first letter. I got the news from the newspaper that you gave birth a sweet little baby girl. Actually, I read it a couple of months ago, but couldn’t send my words because of my graduation exam & I sincerely apologies for it. Please forgive me for such an undesirable delay. Though I am perfectly aware of the fact that I am not any kind of important person to you but still can’t resist congratulating you from the bottom of my heart for giving birth to another adorable girl. I wish from the bottom of my heart that –There would be shower of blessings, there will be promise of love….
Now let us come down to the magical world of Harry Potter. In these days I am dwelling with some thoughts & some ideas about it. Actually, some Characters apart from Harry, Hermione & Ron leave an effect in my mind. Well, the first one of it is Professor R. J. Lupin, The former & probably the best defence against dark arts teacher in Hogwarts, taught Harry to conjure a corporal Patronus & one of the best friends of his dad James Potter. He is a really nice & decent person but having an ill fate. In the 3rd volume he took entry in the life of Harry & from then on he guided Harry throughout the year. He was not only Harry’s teacher but became one of his best friends. Harry was able to share some feelings or more appropriately some of his confusions with him. He even sometimes rescued Harry from the jaws of misery, named Severus Snape. But when the innocence of Sirius Black was revealed to Harry in the Shreiking shack, Harry’s first choice as a guardian became Sirius Black, not Lupin. Throughout the whole school life also Lupin remained the second choice of both James & Sirius. Well, I don’t deny the fact that Both Sirius & James could go to any extent for Remus Lupin anytime, but the situation would not be so easy for either of them if each of them was given the choice to pick either Remus or the other (i.e. to James Sirius & to Sirius James). I, personally think that after a little hesitation James would have picked Sirius & Sirius would have picked James. I can say this pretty confidently because we found that both Padfoot & Prongs thought Mooney i.e. Lupin was the Spy for Lord Voldemort & that’s why Sirius switched & made Wormtail (Peter Pettigrew, the traitor) as the secret keeper for the Potters without even telling Remus. This is really unfortunate for him in spite of the fact that, Sirius after 12 years apologies for that. Lupin was the most sensitive, mature, clever & fair man among the three of them. May be he wasn’t a rank holder like Sirius or James but still he is probably the best in studies after them. We saw through Harry’s eyes in Snape’s worst memory that Lupin was sitting quietly on the grass while James & Sirius were tormenting Snape. He was neither approving nor saying anything to two of his best friends to leave Snape (although, unlike them he was a prefect). In my opinion, that was due to a mixture of feelings of gratefulness & a little bit of fear apart from the feelings of the friendship. He was grateful to both of them because after knowing the truth about him that he is a werewolf, instead of breaking friendship with him, they learnt to be animagi by themselves & gave him company during his transformation as different animals & transferred the most painful & tough period of his life into the most wonderful one. Besides, both James & Sirius had got an extremely dominating personality & you really need lots of guts to tell them anything. Cleary, Lupin had no such guts. But unlike him Lily Evans (Harry’s mother) had got the guts & so as we saw in the pensieve, she was shouting at both of them, especially at James for his arrogant act. I think that it will be a matter of great difficulty for Lupin to pick only one of them & that’ll be a problem to him without a solution. Lupin’s character here is like a connecting bridge that connects Harry’s past & future life. It seems to me that as if his importance is only to introduce Harry with his beloved godfather Sirius Black. But it’s true that without the help of Lupin’s tactfulness & patience, it would not be easy for Sirius to convince Harry & his mates about his innocence because of his own impatient, arrogant & tactless attitude. I really feel bad for Lupin. Why a man, having so good heart has such a miserable fate? I do not understand. Till now, we saw no girlfriend of Lupin & I think because of his werewolf thing he didn’t want any & didn’t go for it. To him, it may be like destroying a girl’s life by growing any type of relationship with her. That’s really pathetic for a man.
Now, the second thing, that I’d like to know that in the 5th volume we saw that Sirius was telling Harry that his biggest disguise as a dog became useless, as Wormtail would tell Voldemort about him being animagi by then. Well that’s a bit confusing. I mean, Voldemort must be aware of the fact that both James & Sirius were animagi since when the scum Peter started to work as a spy for the dark lord. But I doubt that whether Wormtail told Voldemort about his own animagous nature. I think he didn’t, in the first place, because he wanted to keep it as a secret weapon, which would hide him from the world of death eaters & Voldemort himself, if necessary. (& It worked well for him for 12 years). Now here another thing clicks into my mind & that is Severus Snape, yes, the nightmare of Harry’s life. Snape used to be the most important & dangerous death eater having several skills & was right in the inner circle of the Lord Voldemort, just like Lucious Malfoy. So, during the period, before Harry’s birth, when the whole lot of the death eaters were searching for the Potters, Voldemort must filled the members of his inner circle & most trustworthy servants with every bit of information about Potters, which he thought useful for the search. So, in that context he must told them that both Potter & Sirius were animagous (if Wormtail told him). In that case, Snape must be aware of Sirius being an animagi. Then why didn’t he revealed his true nature in front of Albus Dumbledore, in Harry’s third year, when Sirius broke out of Azkaban & everybody thought that he was after Harry? Snape came back to good side after the vanquishment of Lord Voldemort. So he must knew that Sirius wasn’t the secret-keeper for the Potters, it was Peter Pettigrew. So why didn’t he tell the truth to Dumbledore, if he is really reformed? Was that only a schoolboy grudge? Stranger is this, that nobody, not even Dumbledore noticed this suspicious nature of Snape. In the fourth volume when Voldemort was rose again, he was telling about someone who has left him forever & said that he’ll have to pay. I think, here, he meant Snape. So, Snape must be loathed & searched by Voldemort & his fellow death eaters & becomes one of their targets. But in spite of this, Lucious Malfoy, who is another dangerous & skilled death eater & right under the inner circle of you know who, is quite friendly with Snape & Snape’s attitude towards his son i.e. Draco is just unspeakably WELL. Here, I personally think that, the whole situation is quite fishy & a real mystery lies beneath it.
Now lets come down to another field, where my thoughts deal with Lily Evans & Lily Potter. I am really surprised at Harry that how little curiosity he has got for his mother. In the pensieve, within Snape’s memory, he was satisfied by finding his dad & his mates (i.e. Sirius & Remus), even he searched for the traitor Peter, but he completely forgot about his mother & made absolutely no search for her. That’s really unnatural. Every time, Harry was told about his dad’s greatness, his dad’s qualities & everybody compared him with James all the time. Only when his eyes come in the way, Lily is mentioned. That is totally unfair. Harry is not James’s son only; he is Lily’s son too. He has got Lily’s qualities within him too. He is decent & not arrogant like his father. (Well, the miserable 10 years with Dursley may be partly responsible for this). That’s lily’s nature that reflects within him when we found that he felt sorry for Snape after watching him being tormented & humiliated in front of the whole school in the hand of his own dad & his mates without any good reason. As long as I get, Lily was a bit like Hermione Granger but not totally like her. Her shouting, at James & Sirius was similar to the shouting match of Hermione with Fred & George Weasley. But, unlike Hermione, Lily was surrounded by lots of girls. & I think that her best friends at Hogwarts must be girls. But, we have no trace about her friends in side & outside Hogwarts, apart from James & his gang. All we know about Lily, the bits, which are connected to the world of James & Harry. She has no independent existence in the books till now. I’ve got another shrewd suspicion about the relationship between Lily & Lupin. Well, Lupin was decent than the rest three (James, Sirius, Peter) & unlike them & like Lily he was a prefect too. So, according to me, there are two possibilities. May be Lily was angry with Remus about his no support for her against James, just like the situation between Hermione & Ron when the question of telling off to Fred & George comes. Or she might like Lupin as a friend because of his decency. For these reasons she must be in talking terms with Remus Lupin, at Hogwarts than the rest 3. For this, it was not impossible for Lupin to develop some kind of feelings for her. If that so, he suppressed his feelings for two reasons – James & his werewolf nature. Talking about love life &relationships, I must ask you about one thing that is bothering me for a couple of months & that is, the handsome, charming & totally heartthrob Sirius Black. Sirius was the one of the brightest student at Hogwarts & was very good looking also. He was a height of cool in his age of Hogwarts. I also saw, that you mentioned, that in the pensieve Harry saw a girl was eyeing him hopefully in the examination hall of O.W.L., but Sirius took no notice. So, I’d like to ask you about Sirius’s love life at Hogwarts. It seems impossible to me that no girl was interested in him. Was he too arrogant & overconfident to choose one or he had a secret heartache? Then again, I must admit one thing that, it was painful for me to read about Sirius’s death, but no offence ma’am; I didn’t find it remotely true. All we know that his body curved in a graceful arc as he sank backwards through the ragged veil hanging from the arch. That’s all & no trace of his dead body. After all, it was a department of mystery & so loads of phenomena remained unsolved there. So, I think that it’s not totally impossible for Sirius to reappear alive.
I found something a bit funny that how a coward, selfish, traitor & scum like Peter Pettigrew became a GRYFFINDOR in the first place? Had the sorting hat gone mad temporarily during his sorting or anything else? I’d really like to know about it. On the contrary, if GRYFFINDOR can produce a scum like Peter then why can’t SLYTHERIN produces someone decent? Apart from all these confusions I’d like to tell you one thing that I like the sweet & bubbly character of Nymphadora Tonks very much & I have no shame to admit that I am also dead clumsy like her.
Last of all, I must say that I am totally absorbed in the thrilling & magical world of Harry Potter. I day dream about it & always wait for an owl post, addressed to me from the magical world (although I know that it is highly impossible, but still I can’t help to think about it). I really wonder that how anyone creates such an imaginary world, which seems so real? I am waiting hungrily & eagerly for the next volume of Harry Potter i.e. Harry Potter & the Half blood prince. 5th Letter to J.K.Rowling !!!
Dear J.K.Rowling, 20-12-04
I am Suchismita; the huge fan of yours & of course your marvelous creation HARRY POTTER, which is no less than a miracle. First of all I’d like to thank you a million for giving me the reply of my previous letter personally in spite of having those enormous demand on you- as a mom, as a wife & of course as a great writer. I am just so excited that I can’t explain it in words. It’s marvelous, it’s brilliant or I simply say that it is the best one for me to produce the strongest patronous charm…. EXPECTO PATRONUM…I really wonder how do you manage all those things together & more importantly single-handed & in such a nice way? That’s really the toughest job in the whole world & you make it looks like the easiest one. You know, what’s the best part of your character, I found amusing? Well, it’s your attitude towards your fans. You never ignore your fans or never been rude to a single of them & that exactly differs you from the rest of the celebrities, that’s why you are so special.
Well, the essence of X-MASS is in the air now. Chilly wind starts to blow. Tempting smell of cakes, pasties & jingling sound of the X-MASS bell fills the entire atmosphere. I can just hardly wait, to find what is waiting for HARRY at HOGWARTS this year. Well, if it is another loss of his near & dear one I don’t think I can stand it. Because I don’t think that I am as strong as HARRY is. Another thing is floating in my mind, that now when Angelina (The former Gryffiondor Quidditch captain & a great chaser) has left; the post of QUIDDITCH captain of GRYFFINDOR house is open. Whether Professor Dumbledore is going to make Harry the Captain, which he deserves better than anyone else or simply will hand the responsibility over to somebody else so that according to him Harry will not be overloaded. I am also interested to see the O.W.L results of Harry, Hermione, Ron, Neville (specially his Defence Against Dark Art result, which I think will be pretty good after learning those from Harry as a D.A. member) & that evil Draco Malfoy (I’ll be delighted if he fails). I am really worried about Harry’s potion & divination results. I am a bit confused about the real character of Percy Weasley, the former head boy of Hogwarts & the 3rd son of Arthur & Molly Weasley. It’s true that he is an ambitious boy & can do anything for a brilliant career, but inspite of those he cares for his younger brother Ron. Yes. He does, otherwise how do we explain the expression on his face, pale with fright after his younger brother Ron being rescued by Harry during the second task of the TRIWIZARD TOURNAMENT? Besides, during Harry’s 5th year he sent a letter to Ron by congratulating him for being selected as the prefect & also gave him some advice, which according to him would be the best for Ron (although those are completely bullshit). So, apparently I think he cares about him or love him to some extent. But there is also another possibility that he wanted to use Ron as the spy against Harry, Dumbledore, and Sirius & on the whole ORDER & make him as the step of progress of his own career. I am really confused about the true intention of Percy.
Lastly, I’d like to say that I absolutely understand the hectic schedule of yours & totally aware of the so many demands on you. But STILL can’t resist myself from asking you for at least a few lines. I simply can’t stop dreaming about another OWL POST. I am begging you. Please don’t refuse me. 1. In the third volume we found that Harry was practicing the PATRONOUS charm on a Boggart that turned into a DEMENTOR in front of Harry & it affected Harry like a real dementor did. So that was a dementor to Harry then. So why didn’t professor Remus Lupin gets affected by the Boggart when it turned to a full moon in front of him, according to me he should get transformed due to that, as he was a werewolf.

4. I am a bit confused about professor Trelawney. I don’t think she is completely fraud because if she is, she couldn’t be able to predict correctly about the prophecy & the incident that Wormtail would be free & would rejoin his master LORD VOLDEMORT & about the fact that Voldemort would rise again. I also wonder that how did she predict about Hermione’s leaving? Again if Harry is going to die in the hand of Lord Voldemort, the prediction about Harry’s short life, made by professor Sybill Trelawney will become correct again. Well, I think that there is something more than just a coincidence.
5. AVADA KEDAVRA, is an unforgivable & an unblockable curse. According to me, it’s surely unforgivable but not completely unblockable. We found that Harry survived the curse & the curse was rebounded on its sender Lord Voldemort. It was possible because Harry’s mother Lily Potter sacrificed her life to save the baby Harry. My point is that Lily was the reason that the curse was rebounded on its sender. So some scarification is necessary to block this curse. Well, in that case too, it will take some life but at the same time it brings the destruction of its sender to be rebounded on her/him.

This is nothing but love, respect & global appreciation, which of course are earned solely by you without the finest touch of anybody’s help. You deserve it.
I am wondering that whether you are angry with me. I haven’t got the reply of my last letter, I wrote to you wishing you & your entire family a very happy new year. I also wrote about some of the confusions of mine, but trust me, didn’t mean to criticize your writing. After all I am not RITA SKEETER. The thing I love about your novel most, is that, the world of the student, depicted here, is absolutely perfect & so real, that I am deeply touched by it. You have done nothing but a miracle & that is simply reflected through the characters. I’ve never seen such a perfect reflection of a student’s world in a book. I can judge it, because I am a student. Every thought, every emotion & every little details of their ways of thinking are presented here very delicately with great care. 7. How the first witch or wizard realize about her or his power & if she/he is not the first one then what happened to those people who had got magical power at that time when the world of magic was still undiscovered?
8. Who discovered this world of magic?
9. I wonder that how Hermione Granger or the students, coming from the pure muggle families manage to get the wizard money? Because none of their family members are related to the magical world or working for the ministry of magic so they are not supposed to get or earn the wizarding money. So I think there must be a provision in Gringotts bank where the wizard money is given in exchange to the muggle money. But for that, there must be a mathematical system to develop the theory to determine the relationship between the two currencies & I think that should be taught in Arithmancy & should be the very basic knowledge of banking.
10. The sex of ARAGOG, the giant spider, came with HAGRID, from a distant land. When it told Harry & Ron about its son & daughter, it is evident that it is a unisexual species because otherwise it can’t differentiate between its sons & daughter. My question is that if it is a unisexual species then how was it able to do reproduction without a female species of its kind? It is quite clear that it was the only one sample of its species in the forbidden forest & when it came there it was only a baby then so it is out of question for it to be pregnant then.

Why Hermione didn’t get an official warning, when she practiced a few jinxes in her home after getting her first letter from HOGWARTS, which informed her that she is a witch & before joining HOGWARTS. Well unless she practiced those in home i.e. outside HOGWARTS, how was she able to produce the REPARO charm to Harry’s glasses, in the Hogwarts express?
12. According to the sixth volume, prefects have not the power to dock points (as we are seeing when Malfoy is going to dock points Ron reminded him so). But in the second volume when Percy saw Ron & Harry, came out from a girl’s bathroom (the moaning myrtle’s place) he docked 5 points from Gryffindor as a prefect. How is that possible?

I am Suchismita from INDIA. I am really grateful to you that I get the answer of my second letter from you, given by your P.A. Mr. Fiddy Henderson. I must admit that you are not only the best author but you are a great person having a big heart. Actually, I was totally spellbound to find your attitude towards your fans. But I’d like to request one thing, that for God sake, never apologies to me for anything, because I really don’t deserve it. It’s a great honor to me to receive letters from a celebrity like you or frankly speaking, to be recognized by YOU. Thanks a million for reading my letters.
In this letter also I am writing about a few confusions of mine & I know none but you can make me out of these confusions. Recently, I am wondering about one thing & that is about the age of the great wizard ALBUS DUMBLEDORE. I didn’t get the exact age of professor Dumbledore from the information written in the books but I can guess that his age can’t be less than 500 years. If this is true, then I think there must be some kind of explanation within this matter, because no human beings can live so long. Yes, it is true that, Dumbledore is a wizard but still he is a human being. It might be possible if the Philosopher’s stone wouldn’t be destroyed. But after the stone have been destroyed it is kind of weird to accept such a long life span of a human being. Not only that, but also the extreme physical & mental fitness of such an aged person. That is a bit more, even for a genius. I am confused about it a bit more because it is written nowhere in the books of the legend HARRY POTTER that being a witch or a wizard means it will increase the life-span or the power of physical or mental abilities to such great extent. Again, there is another matter I am confused about. The world of witches & wizards can’t be hidden from all the muggles. I am talking about the families of muggle-born & that of the half bloods. So at least 25% to 30% of muggles are aware of this world. If we count the squibs then the percentage will go up to 35% to 40%. So only 60% of the muggles are completely unaware of this fact. But there is another faint possibility of spreading this news, like it can be told by those muggles, aware of this world to those who aren’t. So if almost 40% of muggles know this, then why don’t the members of the magical world & these muggles try to spread the fact to the rest of the non-magical world, instead of maintaining the strict secrecy of this magical world? If they are successful to do this then it may happen that one day the whole world will standup against the evil i.e. against LORD VOLDEMORT & his followers the death eaters. Today is the first day of the new year2004. A brand new day has come. An absolutely new tune & a fresh sweet smell of New Year fills the entire atmosphere. The bright rays of the golden sun, the chilly wind, the songs of different birds everything is so new, and it seems that as if the nature studio wears a festive look. I am sure that you are truly enjoying today with your lovely & sweet family & eating lots of cakes. I celebrated New Year’s Eve with my parents& took Chinese food & a large piece of chocolate cake. But you know something that I’ve got my best New Year gift from you, I am talking about the letter send by your P.A. My 2nd letter to J.K.R!!!
Dear J.K.Rowling, 8-11-2003
I am Suchismita & 20 years old. Now I am holding the reply of my previous letter, from you, the best author of the universe. It’s just so brilliant, so wonderful that actually I have no word to explain the magical effect of the letter & the state of my mind. My heart is just overwhelming with joy & extreme happiness. It’s like that my wildest dream has become true. THANKS A MILLION for giving me the reply. When yesterday night dad gave me the letter, I couldn’t believe in my eyes that I was actually holding it, you actually wrote me. OH MY GOD! These were the words that were emerging from my mouth continuously for at least 5 minutes. I pinched myself several times for confirming whether I was dreaming or awake. At last I realize you wrote me. Then the feelings of mine may be comparable with the feelings of Harry, when he first came to know that he is a wizard & got the letter from the great wizard & present headmaster of Hogwarts ALBUS DUMBLEDORE. Well truly speaking, I felt I could produce the world’s best PATRNOUS. EXPECTO PATRONUM…
Now a day a couple of queries arise in my mind. I know the only person that is you, whom I can ask about it. In the 1st volume, HARRY POTTER & THE PHILOSOPHER’S STONE, in page 45 Hagrid was telling Harry that the parents of Harry (James & Lily Potter) were the Head Boy & Girl at Hogwarts in their day. But in the 5th volume (HARRY POTTER & THE ORDER OF PHOENIX) Sirius Black, Godfather of Harry & the best mate of James, told Harry that James wasn’t being selected even for a prefect, Professor Remus Lupin (another best mate of them & a werewolf) had got the batch instead. So how is it possible that without being selected as a prefect James was selected as the Head Boy? Again in the 3rd volume (HARRY POTTER & THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN) I saw Professor Lupin was telling Harry that the true looks of a Boggart is unknown because it is a shape-shifter, it immediately takes the form that it thinks will scare the person most, who is watching it. But what about Alastor Moody? (Who is known as Mad-eye-Moody)? He has got a magical eye that allows him to view through almost everything, like a solid cupboard. In 5th volume, when Mrs. Molly Weasly, the mother of Ron (Ronald Weasly), asked him to check that whether it was a Boggart, trapped in the writing desk, (in the drawing room of the NUMBER TWELVE GRIMMAULD PLACE, that is Black’s most noble & ancient house), Moody used his magical eye to confirm that it is a Boggart. So he must saw the real form of the Boggart within the desk. Then how come the real form of a Boggart is still be unknown? I am really anxious to get an explanation of my confusion. It’ll be kind enough, if you let me out of this confusion. Now I can’t resist the temptation to tell you that I found all the secret areas in Hogwarts, the school of witchcraft & wizadry (of-course during playing the 1st game CD-ROM of HARRY POTTER & THE SORCERER’S STONE) & found all the FOLIO MAGAI (chocolate frog cards). I’ve made GRYFFINDOR champion in the quidditch league without losing a single game, for several times. Now Harry, his friends& his magical world has become the part of my life. I am deeply moved by the character HERMIONE GRANGER, Harry’s one of the best friends & the cleverest witch in the Hogwarts. Now I am studying well & doing well in my exams. Anyone, who asked me about the secret of my progress I tell one word “ Hermione.”
You wrote that young David is currently taking up most of your time & energy, but I am dead sure that you are enjoying this very much. After all, after Neil & Jessica this is the third wonder of your life. I don’t know how old are they, but I am sure that they are the most beautiful children that anyone ever had & you are a great mom. They are lucky that they get you as their mother. You can’t deny of the fact that it was young & sweet Jessica, who inspired you to start the Legend “HARRY POTTER”. So I thank her too. Last of all I’d like to ask you for a favor that do you mind to accept me as your pen friend? Well, I perfectly understand that how difficult it is to sort out time, specially now, after David is born. But still, I am requesting at least for a few lines from you. Please, please, pretty please. I’ll be waiting eagerly for your early reply & the solution of my confusion. P.S. you asked me in your reply to re-read the ORDER OF PHOENIX & to guess what is going to happen in the next volume. You also wrote that there are a few clues about the way the wind is blowing. I’ve already read the 5th volume for 7 times & I think that I get some clues. So, lets start from the beginning. At the first portion of the volume 6 Harry Potter must wait for his result of OWL / Ordinary Wizarding Level. From the previous volume I’ve got the whole picture of his mind, physical state etc. during the exam. According to that, I am positive that he is getting a definite O (outstanding) in THE DEFENCE AGAINST DARK ARTS exam. But I am not sure whether he is going to pass in HISTORY OF MAGIC & DIVINATION. But I think that he has managed to pass the POTION, due to the absence of professor Severus Snape, a Potter hater & the head of the Slytherin house. I’m also hopeful about his TRANSFIGURATION & CHARMS exams. The perfect applications of his SUMMONING CHARM during the first task of THE TRIWIZARD TOURNAMENT spellbounded almost everyone. Now lets come down to the current atmosphere of the wizarding world. According to the previous volume, Cornelius Fudge, the minister of magic finally believes Dumbledore or after what happened under his very nose he was forced to believe Dumbledore. I also found that The Daily Prophet is now printing the true story about what exactly happened on the night Cedric Diggory died. Since the story clearly reveals the true nature of Peter Pettigrew or Wormtail (who betrayed Harry’s parents by selling them to Lord Voldemort & faked his own death in such a way, so that it seemed, he was being murdered by Sirius Black), Sirius’s name must be cleared. Now since every member of the wizarding world believes Dumbledore again, he may take this chance to give Lupin a decent job or to appoint him as the defence against dark arts teacher once again. After all, he was the best defence against dark arts teacher, the students ever had. Now lets go to the Gryffindor common room. From the attitute of Ron towards Hermione (the way he becomes jealous When Victor Krum, a very popular quidditch player & a Drumstrang’s student, is mentioned by Hermione.) is giving the hints that he is falling in love with her. Again, Neville Longbottom, a fellow Gryffindor & an accident-prone boy, is also showing interest in her. After all, he was the first to ask Hermione to go with him to the Yule ball (in THE GOBLET OF FIRE) & carry unconscious Hermione for a long time during the duel with the death eaters in the previous volume. But I think Hermione will accept Ron, when times come. So I think that there is a chance of the formation of love triangle in between them. Then, about Harry’s love life, I think it is unpredictable. But I think that Luna Lovegood is now becoming friend with Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny & Neville. Finally, I must admit that I don’t know what exactly is waiting for Harry in the Hogwarts in his 6 th year.
